Imageability dan Legibility Kawasan Intersepsi Kemayoran–Sunter, Jakarta: Analisis Konten Lima Elemen Citra Kota Kevin Lynch pada Skala Mikro

Kawasan intersepsi di kota metropolitan memegang peran penting sebagai simpul mobilitas dan aktivitas, namun tidak selalu mampu membentuk citra kota yang kuat, mudah dikenali, dan mudah diingat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kondisi eksisting lima elemen citra kota Kevin Lynch pada kawasan intersepsi Kemayoran–Sunter, menafsirkan hubungan antar-elemen dalam pembentukan imageability dan legibility, serta merumuskan rekomendasi desain yang operasional dan bertahap. Studi dilakukan pada simpang Kawasan Kemayoran-Sunter dalam radius observasi 500 meter menggunakan pendekatan content analysis kualitatif-deskriptif berbasis visual content analysis. Data diperoleh melalui triangulasi Google Earth Pro, Google Street View 2023–2025, dan observasi lapangan. Instrumen dibangun dari lima elemen Lynch yang diuraikan ke dalam 16 sub-kategori, dinilai dengan skala tiga poin (Ya = 3, Sebagian = 2, Tidak = 1). Hasil menunjukkan grand total 67 dari 144 (47%), sehingga kawasan tergolong rendah dari sisi imageability–legibility. Elemen nodes menjadi komponen paling kuat (15/27) karena simpang berfungsi jelas sebagai strategic junction, sedangkan landmarks menjadi elemen terlemah (12/36) karena kawasan tidak memiliki penanda visual yang khas, kontras, dan fungsional. Paths memperoleh 17/27, edges 12/27, dan districts 11/27. Secara keseluruhan kawasan terhubung secara struktural tetapi lemah secara perseptual: ia bekerja baik sebagai ruang lintasan, namun belum menjadi ruang orientasi dan identitas. Penelitian merumuskan intervensi bertahap berupa eliminasi infrastruktur negatif, penguatan wayfinding dan edge, serta penciptaan landmark ikonik dan aktivasi plaza simpang.
