Efisiensi Keuangan dan Navigasi Risiko: Analisis Empiris dalam Bank Islam

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) dengan SIZE sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif explanatory. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh bank umum syariah di Indonesia yang beroperasi selama tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan beberapa kriteria tertentu sehingga menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 11 bank umum syariah di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang berasal dari annual report bank umum syariah periode tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel FDR berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ROA. Variabel DER tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA, variabel SIZE memoderasi hubungan antara variabel FDR terhadap ROA dengan jenis moderasi pure moderasi, dan variabel SIZE tidak dapat memoderasi hubungan antara variabel FDR terhadap ROA dengan jenis moderasi homologiser moderasi. Secara simultan variabel FDR, DER dan variabel interaksinya memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap ROA. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi keterbatasan, antara lain cakupan objek yang terbatas pada bank syariah di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, studi lanjutan disarankan untuk mengembangkan model dengan cakupan wilayah yang lebih luas dan pendekatan metodologis yang lebih kompleks guna menghasilkan temuan yang lebih generalis dan akurat.
